Every nation is the crack on the wall

أَعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّـيْطٰنِ الرَّجِيْمِ
Bismillah ir-rahman ir-rahim.
Assalamualaikum wbt

Nation, in the arabic language shu'uban, came from the word sha'ab, means denture or crack in the wall  or imperfection. It is yet a very beautiful way to describe that there is no nation exist that is 100% perfect. Every nation has some good qualities as well as some corks. Thus, nation has to get to know each other so that they learn each others' strength. Because one nation's strength is another nation's weakness.

-Excerpt from a lecture given by Nouman Ali Khan on the topic "Discover your identity".

Indeed, i had a funny-impossible-thought came into my mind, if it wasn't because of the 'divide and rule policy' that was widely introduced by the big powers after the WWR2, i had probably would have to introduce myself with "I came from the tribe who lives down south the valley where the sun rises at 5am on the first day of summer, but i was specially sent here to learn the martial art because of the obesity problem arised within my people, in return i will teach you how to make a very good bread that can stay soft for a one good week," rather than, "I am a Malaysian and our country ranked 28th out of 179 countries sorted by the gross domestic product."

Up to this date, our mother earth would probably be sobbing at night, asking us in silence "How much blood should i have to continue swallowing, just for these borderlines you all wanted to mark on my skin? Oh human, can you just embrace and celebrate the differences, rather than culturing that arrogance and greed in your heart, endlessly wanting more and more to feed your wicked interests?".

"And amongst his signs is the creation of heaven and the earth, and variation in your language and colours; Verily, in there are signs for those who know" Q30:22

My one and only Bengali friend, Sawsan Taufeeq.

Time is ticking, would you rather spending it trying to prove that you are the best nation or would you rather humble down and enjoy the give and take that life has to offer?

"O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)" Q49:13
