أَعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ
الشَّـيْطٰنِ الرَّجِيْمِ
Bismillah ir-rahman ir-rahim.
Assalamualaikum wbt
Bismillah ir-rahman ir-rahim.
Assalamualaikum wbt
Alhamdulillah! All praises to
Allah swt and I hereby declare the perfection of Allah, The Authority, The
Merciful. Recently Alhamdulillah I was one amongst the luckiest 500 students,
with almost 1000ppl on the waiting list, from what I heard, that came from
different part of the world – FR, UK, US, OZ, SG, JPN, SAUDI, PHILIPINE,
BANGLADESHI, PAKISTANI, SOMALI, AND EVEN FROM THE TAJIKISTAN & UZBEKHISTAN
(at least I got to blow away my
just-beginning-to-be-dusty-russian-language-shelf from the back of my brain! Oh
lord, it’s not yet a month in Malaysia and already I am forgetting ruski
yizik!) MasyaAllah! Quran Intensive (QI) course that was held for approximately
a month at Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan.
So generally, we have daily
classes from 9am-1.30pm and have our Zohor or afternoon prayer and then
continue with a 30-40minutes of kasiraa (tazkirah/tafseer/sharing) except on
Friday which is the only off day. Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan started to teach us
from the very core basic Nahwu (grammar) of Arab Fushah (the quranic Arabic,
not the communicational Arabic ) until intermediate level for about 2/3 of the
whole journey and 1/3 of it we were taught about the Sarf (some sort of a
machine or some magic mathematical equation, where u put a three letters root
word and it produces about 100 plus different words, errr sorry its really hard
to explain btw hahaha) and at the final stage, we were applying all the
knowledge that we had into Surah Yaseen together.
Frankly speaking from my own
perspective as a QI student, it was the most effective, productive, well
organized and very excellent methods of teaching together with easy to
understand materials and very practical notes oriented textbooks provided, yet
still remain challenging in a fascinating way! It’s all worth the pay and the
time spent. I would really recommend Bayyinah QI program to everyone but of
course, not everyone has the same opportunity as we had as in the matter of
time especially. THUS, I AM GOING TO SHARE THE WHOLE ACTION PLANS STARTING FROM
THE VERY BEGINNING, THAT USTADH CAME OUT WITH TO EVERY MUSLIMS WORLDWIDE THAT
WILL INSYAALLAH BRING YOU CLOSER TO NONE OTHER THAN THE ONE WHO CREATED US and
besides, in order to instill & nurture the fundamentals core of our religion
by the means of doing our 5 pillars of Islam.
But before that, I know some
people might question, isn’t it enough that I pray, read the quran and pay my
zakat? Well, let me try to explain.
Allah swt compares the Quran
with the ocean, it eases the eyes of the people on the shore who are looking at
it, it brings joy to those who come closer to touch it, it brings so much
excitement to the one who is swimming even in the shallow part of it, however,
it brings even more satisfaction to the deep divers who experience the deeper
connection when they are able to see the whole new amazing world underneath the
deep blue ocean, the hidden beauty of it. It works the same with the Quran, no
matter at which level you are, you will always still enjoy it at different intensity,
but you will forget the taste of it if you just stop engaging with it, does it
makes sense?
As a Muslim, as a slave to Our
Master, have we ever asked ourselves, what do we really want in this life? Well
most of the time, we will find ourselves wanting and in the need of guidance.
Guidance to think right, guidance to have the right emotions, guidance to act
best at different situations, guidance to make decisions, guidance to success,
guidance to happiness, guidance to be grateful for whatever that is given,
guidance to be a human again, guidance to live and love, guidance to solve the
endless problems, guidance through hardships, guidance to the straight path.
And only with the blessings and
merciful of Allah swt towards His slaves, He gave us the ultimate guidance
which is the Quran, for us to read, understand, reflect, ponder and think, so
that we will be those who are successful in this life and hereafter and of
course to be those who can meet Him in Jannah insyaAllah. Indeed, a great lost
to those who turned away from the guidance.
What I love and benefits the
most from Ustadh Nouman is he is both a great, absolutely brilliant thinker and
doer! It really shows in all fields of his works, in teaching line and his
entire institution, insyaAllah one day it will grave a great legacy to the
ummah.
So here is the well-thought and
very practical action plan every muslim can follow to start building up your relationship
with the Quran and insyaAllah will taste the sweetness to be sheltered under
His blessings and love for us more closer each day. It will definitely changes
our lives insyaAllah.
Requirements for benefiting
from the Quran :
A ) Academically,
ü Arabic
knowledge
ü Tafseer
Lectures
ü History
knowledge
ü Memorization!
Try to memorize an ayah a day at least, doesn’t matter if you can finish
because to finish is never a goal, studying our religion there is basically no
end, just embark the destinationless journey.
ü Etc
B) Psychologically, what
attitude we should have
ü Never lose sight of why we study the quran, which is guidance
to us as a slave (not as a friend or a consumer).
ü Some people said we have to put into action/practice
everything in the quran. In reality, not every ayah offers action but certainly
will offer guidance. Eg in aliff laaam miiiim, which means only Allah knows.
Therefore, before you take instructions you have to know that you really don’t
know anything first and yet, Allah swt knows best.
ü When you study an ayah, turn it into a du’a/prayer.
Again, its not a destination or a goal that we are racing to finish, its a journey that everyone have to save oneself and the beloved ones to walk hand in hand towards Him, insyaAllah.
Ps - I am really sorry for the
4 months of hiatus, please do pray for me that i can share more of it oneday
insyaAllah.
Best wishes,
Tiana As Samad
Thanks for the sharing, will be waiting for more :) may we be guided to the path towards jannah <3
